Should i keep the genophage cure

Aside from a host of side missions gone, a few other things change in the aftermath of this decision. First, whether the cure went through or not, the krogan provides some additional War Assets, with a little extra if Wrex is the leader and less if Eve or Wreav.

Now, if Shepard chose to deceive the krogans and not cure the Genophage, it sets up an interesting confrontation from Wrex later. Eventually, he eventually finds out about the sabotage and it leads to his death, taking away from the krogan's military strength.

On the other hand, if Wreav is the leader, the deception is never discovered. Furthermore, curing the Genophage grants nothing from the Salarians, while sabotaging the cure grants their First Fleet and Mordin if spared. It's anyone's guess as to if curing the Genophage or not is the best choice although, in regards to Renegade vs Paragon, there is one final thing to be wary of. The Salarian First Fleet's military strength is points while Clan Urdnot and Wrex and the krogan mercenaries come out to That means for Renegade players, not curing the Genophage with Wrex as the leader will weaken Shepard's force, but having Wreav as leader gives points between both races.

Either way, this mission requires the strongest of wills, and few are as qualified as Shepard. Parents and kids discover YouTube videos featuring Fortnite characters and Peppa Pig that are spliced with images and videos of the Momo Suicide Game monster. Share Share Tweet Email.

Frankie P. Dauphin Jr Articles Published. Obviously you can cure the genophage which is all nice cupcakes and rainbows but in times of war you need to do what's hard and assure multiple allies. To that end the best thing to do is to allow the sabotage.

When you are in the final talk with Mordin you can try and delay him wont work or you can tell him of the sabotage. If you stick to the 'evil' plan but don't have enough renegade or paragon points you will only have two options "I'm not stopping you" or "I will stop you".

If you do have enough renegade points, avoid using the renegade interrupt and instead choose "I will stop you". A renegade prompt appears allowing you to shoot Mordin in the back and prevent him from curing the genophage. This causes the Krogan to believe they are cured and the Salarians happy because there will not be a Krogan uprising.

This nets you two more armies for your fight against the Reapers. Ultimately the Salarians get scared and commit their fleets and resources anyway down the road so If you sabotage the cure, then later in the game you're forced to kill Wrex since he knows what you did. One crashes into the convoy, forcing Eve's car to continue on without Shepard. Here, you can make your way through an underground tomb where you can pick up some credits if you examine some of the art.

Here you will hear rumbles that come from Kalros, described by Eve as the mother of all thresher maws. Once you make your way outside to what looks like a temple, continue pressing forward where you will encounter Reaper forces as well as ravagers.

Aim for the ravager's sacks, which are their main weak points. Once you make your way out of this area and into a more open locale, you will see Kalros pursuing Eve's vehicle and another vehicle. Keep pushing forward and deal with any enemies in the way to eventually reach a stairway where a cutscene in which Shepard's squad hurries over to Eve's truck plays out.

Now you are at the Shroud facility, where you have to deal with the Reaper. Eve will propose using ceremonial hammers to lure Kalros to the Reaper. Here, avoid the laser trying to incinerate you. Once you get close to the hammers, there are brutes in the way — you also have to avoid being crushed by the Reaper. An area will be marked by a sudden shadow, avoid this by backing away if you are out of the way. If it shows up in your spot, run.

Once the hammers are activated, enjoy a cutscene of Kalros taking down a Reaper. Once the Reaper is gone, Shepard heads inside the crumbling facility to find Mordin and talks to them. If Maelon's research was saved, then he will reveal that Eve survived and that she will be a good mediator should the clan leader get any ideas. If it was destroyed, then Eve will die. Regardless, Mordin will reveal that the only chance to release the cure is by going to the top of the facility to manually authorize the release — it's a one-way trip.

Here is where the decision comes into play. If you wish to cure the genophage , Shepard will try to convince Mordin there's another way. However, he will disagree. You can share a somber goodbye before he goes up the elevator to cure the genophage. If you wish to sabotage the cure , then Shepard will try to convince Mordin to back down from it — he will refuse and a renegade decision will have Shepard pull a gun on him.

He is not intimidated, and here a renegade prompt will appear. Pressing it will shoot Mordin.
