Why do we love fridays

I aspire to be the realistic half of my favorite female fiction characters: to be bold and fearless like Nikita, witty, intelligent and fashionable like Blair Waldorf and sweet and sassy like Cher Horowitz. Being a blogger means a lot of things.

We write about anything and everything, including our own lives. We can choose to be private or be an open book. But I hope to share only meaningful and helpful things to anyone who reads my blogs. Montgomery College will always be a big part of my life as it gave me an opportunity to find myself and discover the things I love and gave me all the more reason to be myself. Greetings everyone! Our motivational quote today is to "don't be afraid to start over. So how have I done? How far have I come? What did I accomplish?

I measure these on Friday. I love that. Either I have done what I had hoped…or not. Then that provides me the carrot or the stick to start again next week. So there you have it. What is your favorite thing about Friday? I know you are busy…so make sure you never miss an update. Sign up for our VIP newsletter here.

We will send you an update with all of the content once a week. Oh…and you can check out more content on our blog page here. Kirby Hasseman. People usually love Friday because it's the start of the weekend, or it's date night, or maybe it's the most relaxed day at work. I used to love Friday for all those reasons, too, until I had kids and stopped working.

Then I started looking forward to Friday because it would be one of the only times my husband and I would put the kids to bed and stay up late together. On the weekdays, we generally go to bed right after the kids because my husband wakes up so early for work.

But now I have a new reason to love Fridays - because it's hockey night. To be honest, I can't believe those words are even coming out of my mouth or my fingers, I should say. I've heard the horror stories about how hockey becomes a way of life for families and I'm trying to put that off as long as possible. But the real reason I love hockey night is because it's also family night.
